The last stop on our tour of the five breweries in Iwakuni was a visit to Horie Sake Brewery of Kinjaku, famous for its Golden Chun Chun in sakekawa 😀.
It's an hour's travel from Iwakuni to Nishikicho station on a local train called Seiryu Line through the Nishikigawa river valley😇.
We safely saw the sake brewery from the outside and went to the store in a different location 😀.
Inside the store, there were only samples and no products 😅.
I asked the shopkeeper if there was any product I could buy, and the shopkeeper apologetically said that he could prepare a bottle of Hisho... I almost said "I want that one", but I said calmly like an adult 🤣.
I got a bottle of Kinjaku Hisho this year, too 😇
When I was waiting for the train on my way home, I found a kiosk in the station building where they sell Kinjaku Josensen 😇.
It is distributed locally, so in a way it is more difficult to find than the hard-to-find Kinjaku that is sold at the distributors 🤣.
The rice and alcohol taste is quite stronger than the usual Kinjaku, but it still tastes great 😇
I served it with Iwakuni lotus root chips and Hofu Uiro bought at Hofu Tenmangu Shrine, but it is a delicious sake that goes well with everything 😀.
The sake we got on this Yamaguchi sake brewery tour is in the 4th picture: ❤️

This time I was in Iwakuni, but next time I would like to visit Toyo Bijin in Hagi, Omine in Mine, Wakamusume in Yamaguchi, etc. 😇

Good evening, Nao888!
I had to reduce the number of bottles I bought for this, but it was impossible to refrigerate all of them 🤣.
I'm sure it's hard to buy Kinjaku in Kansai, but it's worth it if you get a chance 😇.

Hi Hiro, good evening 😀
The trip to see the mountain stream is fun on the way there, but it would have been a hard trip if we couldn't get Kinjaku-san😅.
The return train ride home while enjoying Kinjaku-san was great😇
