I haven't had Shichida for a while since the brand I had before was drier than I expected and not to my liking.
But I like Kyushu sake, so I followed Tenzan Shuzo's Instagram and had a look at it, and I wanted to try it again 🍶.
So I decided to have this sake that looked delicious.
Very refreshing ginjo aroma with fresh and sweet aroma of young melon and banana mixed with a chili-like aroma of squeezed citrus peel ☺️
It has a bit of a coffee shop soda feel to it.
On the palate, from the refreshing attack like when you drink a soda, the chiri-chiri-yaki feeling and the firm umami with a slight melon feeling comes onto the tongue with a good amount of sweetness and acidity that is unbearably good 😳.
While the umami firmly supports the whole, refreshing sweetness flows from the mid-palate along with the same refreshing acidity, and finally it finishes with a light acidity.
It is very crisp and has a short aftertaste.
This is really delicious 😳.
It's different from my favorite sweet and fruity, but it tastes like a fresh and tasty acidity 😊.
It has the freshness of unfiltered raw!
I've also been curious about the new Shichida Oragami Nama, so I'll be trying a lot of Shichida in the future 🍶.
