It's been about 2 years since I've had a Jiameishin.
I had stayed away from Jiameishin since the liquor store in my neighborhood stopped carrying it 😅.
I had a hard time opening it because it was so healthy💦.
Sake made with Okayama Hakuto yeast. The rice is Akebono.
Strong gassy feeling like sparkling and gentle sweetness. The strong carbonation makes it seem bitter, but the low alcohol content makes it an easy-to-drink nigori sake.
It tastes better when it is close to room temperature & the gas is weaker, so you can feel the sweetness.
