This is the second drink at the corner corner of Fukuraiya Sake Shop along the old Tokaido Highway in Kawasaki.
Tsururei Junmai Nigori.
I added an egg pickled in sakekasu (sake lees) and had another glass.
This nigori sake has a dry sharpness and richness typical of Tsururei.
The egg marinated in sakekasu is also delicious.
It was a nice corner bar where we could enjoy the quiet and calm atmosphere.
We had tsukemen at a ramen shop where there was a long line at a nearby intersection. The restaurant is called "Sanzanshichi.
The noodles and the thick dipping sauce were of good quality.
I was going to visit the grave of Antonio Inoki at Sojijiji Temple in Tsurumi, the next town over from Kawasaki, but I was under the influence of alcohol, so I will do so next time.

Hi, Hiraccio!
I love the history and stories of the Tokaido Highway😊.
I remember well when I visited Kawasaki, I went to a Japanese sweets shop called Tosuteru which was located along the old Tokaido Highway next to Keikyu Kawasaki station!

Restoration of Nara Chahan, a popular dish at Bannenya, located in the former Kawasaki Inn
You can eat Nara Chahan inside the restaurant and it was delicious 😚.

Hello again 😃.
I use Keikyu Kawasaki station for transfers so I'll stop by.
The main store closes at 6pm 😭 so I'll go to the branch first....

Good evening, Ane.
I don't think there is an Azalea store.
I ate there a few years ago, maybe 2018? Before Corona.
Slowly savor the history with Nara chahan and shijimi clam soup at Toso Honten 🤓.
I used to wander around Kawasaki a lot 😆.

Shang Jiang kanon, the pickled egg was exquisite👍.
We had two leisurely drinks 🍶 and ate tsukemen noodles from noon, and it was a nice day trip.
The physical distance to the restaurant and the fact that it was my first time there made it feel more extraordinary.

Hi Hiraccio, Hello ^ ^.
I don't usually eat tsukemen, but as a person who likes thick noodles with more noodle volume, maybe I should eat tsukemen 😁.
Tsukemen, looks delicious✨

Hi Manta😊.
I like regular ramen, but I also like tsukemen quite a bit and sometimes eat it with gusto. 😅
You can enjoy the noodles themselves and increase the volume, so it's a great option: ⁉️
