The bottle of Isshuisei I just had was empty in an instant, so I opened this one 🍾.
One of the several bottles of high-grade sake I purchased for a certain reason, and I was attracted to this one because of the cool label and outer box ✨.
The initial aroma is elegant with a bit of sourness like apples!
The overtone aroma is also apple-like and has a slightly pineapple-like aroma!
Personally, I think the common point of a good sake is a good balance of sweetness, umami, and acidity, and that's exactly what it is.
All three are well balanced, but if I had to say something, I would say that the umami and acidity are a little stronger.
The gasiness has been calmed down since it has been fire-aged, but there is a slight chili sensation on the tongue.
The final taste is just as the name suggests, with a crisp aftertaste that finishes with a bang.
It's delicious too!
As expected from AKABU's high-grade sake, this was the most beautiful and clear sake I've ever had from AKABU ✨.
Tomorrow is the last day of work... now that I've refueled with some good sake, I'll work a little harder 💪!
