Saki
This was the first Yamahai sake I ever drank. The person who taught me about it was the owner of a restaurant I like to eat at, and it was this sake that made me fall in love with Yamahai. It's a deep, good old sake that you can't help but want to drink after a long day of daiginjo. It has the aroma of rice, strong alcohol, the taste of rice as it is, and a mellow mouthfeel. It's the kind of sake that makes you feel like you love it. For some reason, it's not recommended much on the official Wakamiya Shuzo website, so please do your best to find it and drink it, whether you like Yamahai or not! I think it goes well with meat, especially gibier.
