The owner of Misato said that the white lavender bloomed, a rarity in Japan, so he decided to commercialize lavender in all kinds of products. The result was this sake. The brewery was reluctant to use it at first, he says.
The result was delicious, so Misato X was a success. The lavender ice cream was also delicious.
