Tottori Pref. Tohaku County. Fukura Brewery Co.
Fukumai Junmai Daiginjo.
A junmai daiginjo from the famous Fukura Shuzo brewery in Sanin Togo, which was sold at the supermarket "La Mu" for less than 1,000 yen at a very low price.
We enjoyed it cold.
When we opened the bottle, we heard a short gas sound.
The color is clear and almost colorless.
The nose has a sweet aroma of raisins and ripe, fatty fruits.
The mouthfeel is moist and firmer, even slightly so.
Slightly nutty flavor, firm umami, and slightly unrefined complexity. After swallowing, the sweetness and full-bodied flavor spreads. There is a slight citrus acidity.
The aroma on the nose is unique, and seems to be a little aged or old-fashioned.
The aftertaste is a little sharp and spicy, and the spiciness fades away.
It is more country sake-like than classical, and considering the price, it is probably just plain good.
Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic)
