This is my first time to try this brand from Tohoku Meizou, famous for Hatsusun brand 😳 The aroma is grefrue. Refreshing ✨, fruity, sweet and delicious. Suitable for aperitifs, but can also be enjoyed in shochu 👍.

The name "Sunagata" is written in Japanese and reads "Sakata". I heard that Uminari was a brand that was only sold at certain liquor stores, and I was confused, but the word "limited" got me.
The aroma is a faint scent of ginjo.
The mouthfeel is slightly spicy, but there is a slight sweetness and umami that comes gradually, with a slight sake-like aftertaste, and a round sourness and bitterness that quickly fades away.
The rice used is Dewa Sanzan, so I was under the impression that it would be a refreshing sake, but it has a robust umami flavor, and while it retains a classical atmosphere, it is a satisfyingly delicious sake.
There was no way it would not go well with Moso soup, sasamaki (bamboo grass rolls), egg agar, and other local dishes of Shonai. It is delicious no matter what you pair it with.
