There are many local Miyagi sake, but this time it is a sake that you probably can't buy unless you are in Miyagi Prefecture! It is Kadoden! Like the Kuunkoshi we drank the other day, this sake is also brewed by Hagino Shuzo. Like the Kunmikoshi we drank the other day, this sake is also brewed by Hagino Shuzo. I like the simple label.
So I opened the bottle! The top aroma is rather subdued, but there is a faint apple-like aroma. The first thing that hits the palate is a smooth sweetness, and the flavor of the rice spreads smoothly. Then, a dry acidity fills the mouth, and a sharpness reminiscent of the light dryness that is common in Niigata sake flows down the back of the throat. The aftertaste is crisp! This is definitely a perfect food sake! It seems to go well with a wide range of food from fatty food to crispy food 😆 Today I paired it with chicken dishes, but it also goes well with light flavors. It is indeed a sake brewed from Sasanishiki! In addition, it also removes the characteristic smell of chicken!
I really enjoy finding sake like this that can only be purchased locally and enjoying it! Sake is truly a profoundly deep drink!
Thank you for the sake. ☺️
