Comparison of Honjozo and Junmai
Let's start with the Honjozo.
The aroma is soft and sweet when you open the bottle (the website says it has a lot of ethyl caproate).
The taste is described as sharp, but it is surprisingly sweet 😳 but not strong, and the spiciness of the alcohol comes in the latter half of the bottle.
Sweet but light and dry
As I drank more, I felt this sweetness was a little persistent 😅.
