Today, I went on a tour of the antenna stores in Ginza to stock up on delicious food from around the country. ☺️
The bottle to be opened is a new sake from a new brewery that inherited an old brewery in Niigata. The rice is Dewa Sanzu. The aroma is muscat-like and sour. On the palate, it has a muscat-like acidity and a sweet-tart flavor, but it disappears cleanly. I was surprised at this clarity on the palate.
It is clear and has no peculiarities, and the alcohol content is 13%, so you can gobble it up. As time goes by, I think it develops a sweetness that is unique to Dewa Sanzan. I paired it with trout sushi and white shrimp fish cakes that I bought at a store in Toyama, and it was delicious.
