<Pitchy, refreshing, deliciously spicy and light nigori (slight nigori).
Otokoyama is from the "KEG DRAFT SAKE" series, a 10L tank sake server that maintains the flavor and freshness of freshly squeezed sake for a long period of time.
The color is a firm light nigori.
The aroma is a sweet, sweet, rice flavor. Oh! It is very good.
The mouthfeel is a piquant, shiny, and delicious. Surprisingly, the sweetness is moderate, but it works in a good direction. It is refreshingly umami and dry.
The umami gradually swells at the end and disappears nicely and refreshingly, leaving a lingering aftertaste.
This sake goes very well with meat. It was delicious with sauteed pork and Vietnamese ham, which were the entrées of the day.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, I would compare it to Pazoo, the main character in "Laputa: Castle in the Sky. A fresh, young and straightforward protagonist. Not sweet, but kind.
I love the story of Pazoo who said, "I will never be a pirate," but later said, "I will be a pirate king! I love the story of Pazuzu who said, "I will never be a pirate.
Satisfaction: ★★★★
