Korean convenience store in Sannomiya? When I passed by the convenience store, I found that it had a well-stocked liquor corner, so I went in and found something that looked like Japanese sake.
I was surprised to see only the real sake legend, Mr. koge2, drinking it!
It seems that Lotte Chilseong Beverage has a monopoly on sake production in Korea through acquisitions and other means.
By the way, the most popular Japanese sake is a mysterious packaged sake called "Ganbare Fata-chan" 🤣.
I heard it is manufactured by Hakuryu Sake Brewery in Niigata 🤔.
There is another type of sake called Yakushu (medicinal sake), which is also a member of the sake family. They also sell this one, but I didn't buy it this time.
According to wikipedia, the rice is Akibare, the sake degree is +3, and the acidity is 4.0.
It is quite sweet and sour and refreshing. I wonder if it goes well with spicy food? It says it's clear and dry, but it's not dry at all 🤣.
It's like a diluted lemon squash without the carbonation.
Surprisingly, it's not bitter even though it was made in August last year.
