Liquor stores in Tsuruoka. Tsuruoka, Yamagata, is a surprising place, with supermarkets and product stores having too great an assortment of goods. However, as is typical of local liquor stores, the knowledge of the lady here about alcoholic beverages is unbelievable! We had a lot of trouble finding the right one, but went with a big name we hadn't tried yet, recommended by the head of T.KISO! Kamikimoto, which I was told was originally from a sake brewery in Tsuruoka! I will go back and drink it.
The signboard of Eiko-Fuji is also nice.

Thank you, Pon-chan. I know it must be hard for liquor stores to compete with such a large selection in the supermarkets, but maybe they can compete with limited edition sake, out-of-prefecture sake, etc.? I know the population decline is tough, but let's keep the momentum going!
