I drank Chitose from the same brewery about 2 years ago, but it's been 4 years since I've had Okutanba itself.
Hyogo Sake85 is a series of sake made with Hyogo's next generation sake rice called "Eighty-Five". The next generation rice was born 39 years ago, which is the same age as myself.
I bought it together with 8-year-old Ichinokura at Ikoma Sake Shop.
It's rare to find a kijoshu that is a nama yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast.
I thought it was rare to find a kijoshu that was a "kinohashimoto" sake 💦.
The palate is refreshing, but soon after the rich ripe fruit-like sweetness bursts forth. However, it is relatively easy to drink, and not as harsh as most kijo-shu. I'm getting interested in sherry cask too.
The sweetness is a bit like the URAZATO PROTOTYPE 4 I had the other day. It's like a darker version of URAZATO PROTOTYPE 4.
It's one of the best kijo sake I've ever had.
It's a kijoshu, but the official website says it's a junmai ginjo.
After a few days, it starts to get banana-like.

Hello, bouken 🐦!
A kijoshu with a raw yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast! I love Yonotori so I'm so caught up 😁It might take me another 2 years, but I'd love to drink it if I find it ❣️Ikoma, you put some rare ones 😳.

Good evening, Ponchan 😃.
Perverted specs! I bought it thinking that it was a "perverted specs" but later I realized that there is also a Yonotori 🤣.
You can't buy Yonotori very often these days 🤔.
I'm glad to know that not many stores in Hyogo carry Okutanba 😌.
