They said it was a renewal of what they had been serving as "Mr. Apple Born in a Wooden Barrel" until last year. The aroma is faintly citrus and maybe some apple? When you include it, it is faintly chili. The first thing you notice is a simple sourness, and as you roll it over, you can feel the fullness of the flavor on the side of your tongue! Slightly rice, apple-like acidity, and finally, bitterness to finish. The label on the back of the bottle says that the acidity tastes best when chilled, so it may be a little bitter when it is close to room temperature. It is not that bad. However, I like it better chilled! It was delicious with salads and vinegar-based meals. 🍽️

Hello Kotaro 😃 Is this a variant of Kamokin sake 🤔The label looks like it might be refreshing, but the richness and umami acidity makes it sound like it would be very drinkable. I would love to drink it if I have the chance 😋.

Good morning, Kotaro 😃. It's been more than 3 years ago 🤔We had "Wooden Oke 🍎 Acid" at our first Hiroshima home drinking 😋I didn't raise it, but I liked it and I'm drinking my second bottle ☺️ It's changed a lot to look more stylish 😳
