The second day of my trip to Okayama was spent in Takahashi.
All the good-looking bars were full, chartered, or closed, so we couldn't get in.
It was a pity that we couldn't drink until late because we were leaving early in the morning to see the sea of clouds, which has a low probability of success.
The first restaurant was a bit of a failure, so we went to the second one. It seems to be an izakaya that serves Okinawan cuisine. I ordered akaten, a specialty of Hamada in Shimane Prefecture.
It was nothing like the atmosphere of a trip, but it had to be done...
Oh, the drinks are good.

Good evening, Gyaban-san. I also went to Takahashi last year, so I totally understand. It is a good place, but there are not many local restaurants.

Good evening, Hirupeko.
It's a shame to waste such a charming place with such a beautiful townscape.
I have the impression that there are many restaurants that serve local cuisine in historical towns like this, but Takahashi doesn't have any, which is strange.
