Rice used : Omachi
Polishing : 60
Condition : Junmai Ginjo/namaishu
Alcohol content : 13
Sold at: Sakurumoto Shoten Honten (Chuo-ku, Sapporo)
When opened: Shu x 5 (about 1 minute)
It has a strong gaseous taste.
Slightly reddish melon-like top with a hint of rice malt
The same fruity aroma as the first sip, the mild umami and sweetness of the rice, and the tangy gasiness and refreshing acidity all come together to form a delicate, bitter, and refreshing finish.
It is sweet and sour and juicy, but you can also taste the umami of the rice, and it is mildly bitter and crisp, making it perfect with a meal, and of course delicious on its own!
On the second day, the gaseous feeling is gone a little and it tastes mellow and delicious.
It went well with pancakes and fried rice.
It went well with sauteed chicken and take-out lunch boxes (hamburger steak, fried chicken, Sri Lankan curry) from a study group.

Masaaki Sapporo-san Good evening. I visited Sapporo in April and it was a beautiful day and the cherry blossoms were in bloom. The taste is probably the same though.

Good evening, Nochi-san 🌙This picture was taken as soon as I bought it and stored it in the fridge, so the date was March 6 😅I still have several bottles of sake with snowy scenery lying around 😁....

Jay & Nobby, poor review as always, but thank you 🙏 We're keeping a few bottles for requests for upcoming guests, so we're sure to have snow in August 😅.
