After all, hot steamed buns are delicious.
I made hand-rolled eho-maki at home and shared it with my mother's family.
Today's sake was Ume Nishiki from a brewery in Ehime.
Even though it is a regular sake, it has a strong oak aroma and is like a honjozo. The taste is a mild sweetness that spreads quickly and is easily cut off, and there is not much umami.
The sardines were not grilled with salt, but kabayaki style with shiso.
It went well with the sardine.
