Today we opened a bottle of Akabu's Autumn Sake 😊.
The seasonal products are always at a high level, so I had high hopes for the amber as well.
The aroma was fruity, as is typical of Akabu, with a juicy, slightly sweet taste on the palate. The second half felt a bit dry and did not leave a lingering aftertaste.
It was not as sweet as I had expected, and I think it lacked punch.
It may be just right for a mealtime drink.
It was a little different from what I was expecting 😅.
My husband and I finished it in no time because it is low in alcohol and easy to drink.
In my opinion, I prefer the standard Junmai Ginjo to the Amber.
But I still like Akabu. ❣️

Good morning, Hinahana-mama-san.
I'm very interested in Akabusan's Autumn Sake as I've recently had the opportunity to see it at Sake no Wa 🎵.
I like the fruity taste of Akabusan 😊.
I haven't had Jungin yet so I'd like to try that one too✨.

Hi, ma-ki-😃Thank you for your comment. Amber is indeed delicious, but I think Akabu is still the best Junmai Daiginjo by a long shot! Junmai Ginjo is also quite tasty, but it is still no match for Daiginjo: ❣️
