I wanted to drink something with a sour taste, so I opened a bottle of this one in a time leap to summer.
The aroma is slightly fruity and sour.
When you take a sip, you get a light sweetness, but it quickly gives way to sourness, and then it is gone. The lingering aftertaste is soft and quickly disappears.
It is a bit like Monster minus the spice.
As expected from Akabu, this is the kind of wine that makes you want to have another glass. It is delicious.
As the day goes by, the sweet and sour tones seem to become milder and milder. There is a slight melon-like taste towards the end.
I think I like the first day when the flavor is more balanced (although I drank almost all of it on the first day).
Whether sweet or sour, I appreciate the fact that I can drink it easily without stress.
Now, another new sake or nigori is waiting for me in the future, I guess?
