Niigata Prefecture. Sado City. Kato Sake Brewery.
Junmai Kazeyawaraka
After visiting several liquor stores in Kyoto, this is the second time in a long time that I bought this sake at a liquor store. I was going to buy it because they had Enayama, but then I saw a pre-purchased sake casually sitting there, so I bought it at the same time. The brewery is famous for its brand name, Kanetsuru.
I had it cold.
The color is clear, almost colorless, with a faint greenish hue.
The nose has a refreshing aroma of white peaches and green apples.
The palate is smooth with a refreshing acidity and a slight fruitiness.
The palate is slightly sweet, with a mild grain-derived acidity that is refreshing, and a short, slightly pungent aftertaste.
The finish is short and slightly pungent. It is fresh and classical with a hint of softness.
Ingredients: Rice (from Sado Island), rice malt (from Sado Island)
Rice polishing ratio: 60
Alcohol content: 15%.

Good evening, Mr. Nemuchi.
I used to be able to buy Kintsuru at a liquor store in Kobe, but they went out of business and I haven't had it for a long time 💦.
I haven't had it for a long time 💦 I see there is a store in Kansai where you can buy it.
