Masaaki Sapporo
9 points (wife: 8.5 points)
Rice used : Miyamanishiki/Hiyori, all grown in-house
Polishing ratio : 35
Sake meter : ±0
Acidity: 1.5
Alcohol content : 16
Sold at Takano Sake Shop (Teinei-ku, Sapporo)
When opened
No gassiness
Slightly ripe banana-like top-end
The same gentle aroma as the first sip, the full-bodied sweetness and umami of rice spread softly, and it finishes quickly with a gentle acidity and a slight bitterness.
It is a little sweet at first, but the slight bitterness in the second half brings it all together, giving it an elegant and beautiful impression, and it goes well with meals and is of course delicious on its own.
It goes well with sauteed chicken, macaroni salad, and pot-au-feu.
