Tonight's sake is "Nanakanba" from Hikami sake brewery in Shimane, Japan.
In the evening, I went to Kadokami Gyorui and found Shimane red sea bass for one-pot dishes at a discount 🐟.
In my bag for sake that I had just received from the liquor store was a bottle of "Shichikanba" (🐎) from the hanpukai sake distribution... ✨
That's why
It's Shichikanma & Miso-style Ankou nabe!!! 😆
A blend of "Sakanishiki" and "Koudou Omachi" (non-standard rice) from Shimane Prefecture 🍶.
Citrusy aroma
Charming acidity followed by umami and bitterness.
A sake that goes well with food, and makes the nabe go further!
When warmed to lukewarm, the acidity was even more pronounced and the umami spread gradually!

This Shichikanma is the November edition of the Nihon Meimon Sake Club's "Autumn Junmai Sake Hanpukai 2022", and this year's theme is "Junmai Sake brewed with local rice"!
There are two brands each month from October to March, and it's fun to drink them while reading the pamphlet.â
My first encounter with Hanpukai was when I bought a sake at a liquor store and couldn't find it on the brewer's website. 🤔 and I found it on the website of the Japan Famous Sake Brewers Association.
By the way, from April to September, I participate in the cheese hanpukai at the liquor store 🧀.

Ponchan, the broth is delicious with the angler's liver infused in it 😋 According to the brochure, you can enjoy the pear-like aroma, although the aroma is not so strong as to match the meal 😊.

Hi, Aaru-Sake-san!
I was at an izakaya the other day and it was perfect with crab miso❣️so it would definitely go well with ankou nabe 😋😋I'm really curious about the cheese from the izakaya too😆✨.
