It's the last train home again today and the date has changed, but I had a late-night drink.
I have decided to drink Tohoku sake for 3.11, and I often drink Urakasumi.
On January 11, 2011, I took a one-day trip to Sendai-Matsushima with my wife before we got married. We first stopped in Shiogama for lunch, had sushi, and stopped at Urakasumi's Saura.
Two months later, the earthquake struck.
Urakasumi's junmai sake is a clear, reassuring sake with a subtle umami of rice and a touch of acidity.
My wife says that this is a small way to support the Tohoku region, so we also had sasakamashi (bamboo grass cutlet) and octopus sashimi.
As one would expect from Urakasumi, they went well together, and we enjoyed them in peace and quiet.

Hiraccio-san, good morning 🌤Your heart to stay close to us even after the date has changed is too nice. The Tohoku support menu prepared by your wife is even better 💕I also went to the Tohoku product exhibition and bought some sasakamama to support them 😋.

Hiraccio-san Good evening (^o^), thank you for your hard work until late. I guess everyone has various feelings about the earthquake. The stable Urakasumi. It goes well with ingredients from Miyagi. Thank you for continuing to think of Tohoku.

It seems there was some kind of Tohoku fair.
The sasakamama was delicious.
It's a day to offer a cup of sake in peace.
