I visited Obuse Winery that day after a friend reported that she had purchased a bottle of Obuse Winery's sake at a nearby liquor store. I had no idea it was 1500 mL, but I bought it without hesitation, because I have trouble storing bottles of nama-shu in the fridge, but this one fits in the door side of the fridge (great). But this one fits on the door side of the fridge (great), and I finish it right away. We enjoyed the sake while eating firefly squid with vinegared miso paste and snow crab from the New Year's inventory that we purchased at the supermarket.
It is made from 100% Miyamanishiki from Nagano Prefecture in 2024, 59% polished rice, 14% alcohol by volume (transcribed from the back label, Association No. 6 yeast and natural bacteria).
As I think every year, it is a beautiful (white wine-like) sake and a wonderful sake that I never get tired of drinking. This year we have 1500 mL so we can have it without hesitation.
