I had the day off today and spent the morning watching the WBC final ⚾️.
I am so glad that today was my day off 😌.
I was able to watch a great and historic game in real time.

For dinner, we had Zenmai (royal fern) simmered in soy sauce and tempura of Japanese butterbur that arrived from Niigata.

The butterbur sprouts, fresh and bitter, this is the breath of spring, taste 😊❗️
This is my first time to drink Hakkaisan's sparkling nigori sake, but it is not too sweet and has a nice bitter taste at the end that is typical of Hakkaisan.
