The other bottle of sake I bought in Kumamoto was completely lukewarm, so I changed it with Fukuoka's sake that was standing by in the fridge.
We chose Kiku Bijin!
We got this sake in last week's business trip to Miyama city in southern Fukuoka prefecture.
It was a favorite of the poet Kitahara Hakushu, who wrote the title of the label while reading this sake.
I'm sure you'll agree that it's a great idea.
First, the aroma
A little bit of alcohol smell on the nose
The sake level is +4, which is a little dry, but you can feel the spiciness more than the number❗️
I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not. I wonder if it's the result of the "Yume Ikken" rice produced in Fukuoka Prefecture.
I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sure it's worth it.
I'm sure you'll be able to find something that works for you.
I'm going back to the Showa era and pairing it with persimmon peas, it goes really well👌.
