11/24-30 I got the information on SNS that Sake Chiteno will open a shop at Ikebukuro Seibu Department Store, and I visited there in a hurry during my lunch break.
I was able to purchase the limited edition Shiboritate Unfiltered Raw Sake Kawanakajima Genmai from the Seibu Ikebukuro store.
Even though it was a weekday afternoon, there were always a few fans swarming around, and the fridge that could hold dozens of bottles was more than half empty...
I thought I wouldn't be able to buy it if I came here on Saturday or Sunday, so I wondered if I should buy a few bottles, but this time I held back with just one bottle because of the space in the fridge.
It's a special brew, so you can buy it for around 1300 yen, and it comes in department store quality packaging...
The initial aroma was a slight green apple-like fruitiness...
The mouthfeel is banana? Pineapple? The mouthfeel is sweet like a banana or pineapple, with a good acidity and bitterness, followed by a strong alcohol feeling and a long aftertaste.
It was a good taste that was worth drinking at this price.
Rice polishing ratio : 59% (Kinmon Nishiki)
Alcohol content : 19 degrees
Toji : Mariko Chino

Hi kumakichi0426😃 I'm curious about Genmai, it looks delicious. I'm not sure if I should go on an expedition to Ikebukuro or look for one locally😅.

Hi Harry Sakeboy!
It's a department store, so I'm sure they have stock available, but I'm sure it will all sell out at once over the weekend and it's hard to judge... They do this every few months, so you may want to check the timing!

Mr. Deer God. Good evening!
I'm glad you were able to purchase it safely.
I wandered over to the Seibu Department Store today, but there were only a few bottles of Shiboritate Tokubonjozo left... I'm looking forward to seeing you at the store in about half a year!
