My wife had to work today, so we met up after she finished work and went to our favorite yakitori restaurant!
I went to the liquor store to get some stuff and then went to the meeting place.
I didn't get the sake I was looking for, but the liquor store is a lot of fun!
Well, the first drink at my favorite Yakitori restaurant was Kido by Heiwa Shuzo!
This time it was Junmai Ginjo Nigori Sake Nama!
This may be the first time I've seen this label!
So, let's have it right away!
First, the aroma. It smells sweet!
Since we are here, I took the top clear liquid and the nigori.
The top clear.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the overall taste is thin and refreshing.
The sweetness, sourness, and bitterness are combined well with the spiciness and sourness lingering in the mouth.
When matched with a meal, the umami increases and the bitterness is also good!
Kido also has a nice lingering aroma.
Nigori
Compared to the supernatant, I can feel the citrusy flavor and the overall impression of richness while maintaining a fresh balance.
Of course, the umami is also more intense - it's delicious!
I felt that it tastes better when mixed with other ingredients.
It is fun to compare the nigori with the supernatant.

Good morning, ma-ki-!
I love Kido, I'm sure it goes well with a nice grilled chicken 😇.
I enjoy it in three different ways: when I open the bottle, I mix it with the supernatant and let it come to room temperature, and then I mix it with the freshly mixed and chilled one 😇.

Thank you for your comment, Yasube!
I see that you also enjoy the change in temperature range: ⤴️
I'll give it a try when I drink nigori at home 🎵
Yasube's favorite, Kido, went great with chicken 😊.

Thank you for your comment, HinaHanaMama!
My wife wanted to eat yakitori for the first time in a long time because she had been going alone recently 😁.
There are many ways to enjoy nigori and it's fun and educational 😊.
