Termat
Since I am in Hokkaido, I tried Kamikawa Taisetsu, which I have been curious about for a while!
There is a directly managed store in Sapporo that offers tasting for a fee, about 0.75 gou or so for 440-550 yen, served in Riedel glasses. The owner also taught me a lot of things and we had a good conversation. I was told that Kamikawa Taisetsu is mainly fired by one flame, which gave me a fresh impression. I compared a few of them, so I'll give you my impressions in short.
Tokachi Key KEG
I appreciate drinking KEG's fresh sake at this time of the year 🥹 It is fresh, sweet, sharp, and tasty.
Kamikawa Taisetsu Organic Ginpu
This was amazing, full-bodied with a yellow tinge! Full-bodied with a yellow tinge, it was as fresh as KEG, fruity, sweet and sour, and delicious. Pricey, but I took it home!
Tokachi with cheese
Unlike the above, this sake is quite rich and the cheese is the sake!
Kamikawa Taisetsu is delicious! I've been avoiding it because it's a bit pricey, but I'll buy the regular Tokujun too!
