Today, I got this from a sake friend of mine! My favorite Shinshu Kamerei. I'm so happy. I was wondering when I should drink it because I love it so much, so I decided to have it this time.
The aroma is like apples and pears, just like Kamerei. When you drink it, the sweetness comes first and then the chirichiri (a chili pepper) taste comes. Then comes the umami and bitterness, and the aftertaste is refreshing. The initial sweetness is well purified by the bitterness, so it is not too sweet until the end. I was surprised at the sweetness, which I have not had in a long time, but it is a quintessential Kamerei!
After the second day, the umami taste increases and you can enjoy it even more. The whole thing is so beautiful that I want to keep drinking it forever 😄.
