On the second day off, my wife went to lunch with a friend.
Then I have no reason not to drink from noon, so I'll have it from noon today, too!
So this Thursday we started drinking Yamamoto by Yamamoto Sake Brewery!
This time it's pure black!
I've always wanted to try this sake because Pure Black was used in the 123rd anniversary sake that I received for the first time!
Let's have it right away!
The first day
First, the aroma. Fruity? Refreshing? The aroma is not so strong.
When you put it in your mouth, you will feel a unique fruity and refreshing sweet and salty taste.
From there, the taste shifts to bitterness and spiciness with a sense of minerality and richness.
The last taste is quite bitter and finishes with a strong bitterness.
Overall, it gives a refreshing impression.
The third day
The taste is a little thicker and richer.
Today, too, there is a gradation from fruity sweetness and full-bodied complexity to a sense of minerality.
The lingering taste is a bitterness with a full-bodied flavor.
It's still a unique taste, but it's clearer than the first day.
When matched with a meal, it became tangy and dry, but when matched with sushi, sweetness and umami came out, it was really a strange sake that showed various faces.
