The beautiful sweetness of the rice is well perceived, and the fine acidity is gentle and well blended.
While the freshness of the alcohol passes from the palate to the nose, there is also a fruity hint of incense, and towards the end, the rice aroma becomes richer as the flavor expands.
The bitterness of the full-bodied flavor typical of Yamadanishiki is present when swallowing, but the final taste is smooth and crisp, as is typical of daiginjos.
The lingering aftertaste is gradually medium-long.
As is typical of daiginjos made from Yamadanishiki, it is fruity, with a sweet umami of rice and a sense of calmness, but it also has a good sharpness and lingering finish.
I felt a slight sense of maturity characteristically, which was also enjoyable and tasteful.
