I bought a bottle of dry Funaka Hachisaku at my father's request.
I opened it on New Year's Day.
The top aroma is mild, but it has a refreshing sweet aroma with a hint of acidity.
When you put it in your mouth, the alcohol hits you for a moment, but you feel a moderate sweetness and a hint of refreshing sourness like citric acidity, probably from the use of white malted rice, and it finishes cleanly.
Although it is labeled as "very dry," it is not so much sharp as it is refreshing, and the refreshing acidity makes it very light and refreshing.
You can drink it in large gulps.
(Alcohol 17-18 degrees Celsius)
It was delicious. I will buy it again 😘.
