Fukuoka→Saga→Tokyo→Osaka→Okinawa, at the end of Okinawa.
At a get-together with the locals, when I told them I was looking for Okinawan sake, they laughed at me and said 🤣 no one drinks sake in Okinawa, so after work I visited two liquor stores and as expected, I was sunk.
Sake from Okinawa seems to be available from the second half of December, but it still seems to be hard to find due to low production because of the lack of need. Gakkusshi.
A kind lady told me that there was a sushi shop on the upper floor that had sake.
Sushi in Okinawa...hmmm...I went to the sushi place, but there was no Okinawan sake, so I decided to go to Hyogo Prefecture 🤣.
...but then I thought, oh! Surprisingly delicious! It's a very good sake. Sweet rice, mellow, fruity and a bit sour. Sorry for the burn, but we ended the week with a delicious end too 😆.

Maybe you could have found Okinawan sake at the sakelabo I mentioned in my footprints? 😅 I'm sure it will be minor in the land of awamori sooner or later. Or, you'll find it in Tokyo at Run & Drink 😀.

Joe, too bad❣️ If you want to buy near Kokusai-dori, there is a liquor store in the basement of Ryubou or Izumiya Sake Shop. If you want to go to a bar, you can go to SAKE LABORATORY near Miebashi bridge. You can also find some at souvenir shops. Good luck🤞🤞😀

In Okinawa, I tend to go for Orion beer and Awamori. Awamori is delicious when mixed with coffee, please try it next time 😆.
