Today I went to my favorite yakitori restaurant for the last time this year!
Every year I give them a gift of sake because they have been so kind to me.
But a few years ago, the owner started giving me pre-sake as well, and this year, I received a bottle of sake that made me crazy!
I'm going to preface this by saying that the first sake I had at my favorite Yakitori restaurant for the last time this year was Kido by Heiwa Shuzo!
This time it was Omachi!
I've had a lot of Kido, but this is my first Omachi, so I'm looking forward to it!
Let's have it right away!
First, the aroma. Not much of an aroma.
In the mouth, there is a refreshing acidity, a gentle sweetness, and a slight alcohol taste.
It is easier to drink than the usual Kido, with a strong acidity and a refreshing impression.
The lingering aftertaste is slightly bitter with a hint of sweetness.
This Kido was definitely a delicious sake!
