Today we have a spring sake from Sono Kangiku.
This is the second bottle of OCEAN NINETY NINE series.
It is a popular sake at Sakegawa.
Fresh bubbles appear in the glass when poured.
The aroma is sweet with a fresh apple flavor.
It has a light and refreshing mouthfeel.
The bitterness of the fresh bubbles is pleasant.
Then, the flavor from the green apple hints and fresh sweet and sour taste, and it finishes with a shrieking bitterness.
It is a bittersweet yet refreshing expression of the coming of spring.
This is what you get when you brew Omachi in a refreshing way!

I learned from reading Sono Kangiku's website that they have been drinking OCEAN NINETY NINE series from Ginkai to Nagi.
So I will have to try the Aomi next.
I must make sure I don't miss it 👀.
