The nose is apple🍎, quite sweet honey apple type.
But when you drink it, it is surprisingly clear and smooth. The sweetness seems to come slowly, but it does not sink in deeply, and then the flavor turns into umami, and the sourness is felt on the side of the tongue and disappears with a whiff.
It is hard to believe that it has 17% alcohol. It goes smoothly without any alcohol drag. It is not too light, so I enjoyed it with strong-flavored snacks.
I feel that most Aomori sake has a certain 🍎 flavor...or maybe that's just a preconceived notion.
