Masaaki Sapporo
8.5 points (Wife: 9 points)
Ingredients : Rice, Rice malt
Rice type : Dewa Tsanzan (Yamagata)
Sake Degree : +2
Acidity: 1.6
Rice Polishing Ratio:50
Alcohol Content:16
Sold at: Sakurumoto Shoten Honten (Chuo-ku, Sapporo)
When opening the bottle
Moderate gassiness
Slightly sweet rice malt and alcohol on top
The fruity aroma of plums and grapes with a hint of rice malt, the mild sweetness and umami of rice, and the acidity reminiscent of grapefruit spread out with a pizzazz, and the mild bitterness and slight spiciness of alcohol make the wine finish crisply.
The slightly dry and well-balanced impression makes it a good match with meals, and it is also refreshing and delicious on its own.
On the second day, it becomes mellower and tastier, but the aftertaste is still short.
It went well with marinated salmon, Kojima's pork stew, suzunoko (baby sardines), rice with chicken and Nagasaki tsuwa, and pork miso soup.
It also went well with lemon steak donburi.
This year, too, before we knew it, we had Hinamatsuri Tyrol chocolates at home (sweat).
We had no choice but to make them a little early (laugh).

The muddy sake and the snow-covered ruins? The muddy sake and the snow-covered ruins are very well matched. ☺️

Thanks again, Pitama 👍This is Stonehenge, a stone monument in the city's Takino Cemetery, taken late last year 🗿It should be pretty deep in snow by now: ⛄️

Shin-kun, thank you very much for all your help 👍Because it's the season of snow, I take a pre-shot whenever I have a good view 😁I still have sake that I bought at the end of the year and can't buy a new one today 😅.
