Report of the August meeting of the SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 14📝.
This summer-only Toyoake has a beautiful purple and green label with an impressive hydrangea on it.
Not many stores in Kansai carry it, and of course this was the first time for me to try it ✨.
The sweetness is very intense, but it flows with a bit of sourness and bitterness as well.
It is a very well-balanced sake, and I wondered if I could enjoy the changes if I drank it with some time left 💡.

I was going to buy hana-yosu to go home but couldn't 😅I'm happy with the result since other people brought hana-yosu 🤣I drank it at chuin the week before and enjoyed it so I decided to go with this sake😊It's tough to go home via Kanazawa 😓.

Thank you for the good experience of having a rare drink, even if it wasn't a hana-yori ✨.
It's fine if you're staying overnight on the way, but it's hard to take the long way when you have to go home right away 💧.
