Recently, my roommate is a devotee of the Dragon God and wanted to visit the Kutouryuu Shrine located deep in Hakone😃.
It is possible to go there on a day trip, but since it is a special occasion, we decided to take our time and go to Ito Onsen (hot spring) 💨.
I just did a search for Izu Peninsula and sake shops and found a good one 💦.
I left my house at 6am to visit Hakone Shrine and Kutouryuu Shrine, but it was still early for lunch, so I went straight to Ito ‼️
We had lunch at an Italian restaurant near a deserted station, and then went to a liquor store we had searched for: ✌️
As soon as you enter the entrance, you will see premium shochu Maou and Murao on sale, although they are tied together. I looked for Jyushidai and Shinsei to see if they also had them since they are a special distributor, but alas, they did not 🤣.
Speaking of Shizuoka, Isoboast ❣️ is my own benchmark for dry sake. I tried it lukewarm, but I think it is better to drink it cold and crisp with this dry taste 👅.
Junmai Ginjo is quite expensive, but Isobojiman is delicious even as a honjozo.
