Good evening! (^^)/
It is gradually getting colder and colder like winter.
November is coming to an end in no time.
Last week, we celebrated the first birthday of my grandson, the daughter of my eldest son and his wife, by carrying a rice cake on her back.
The day before, we went into Hanamaki and entered a tavern called "Fu-ko".
I was told that usually there are not that many customers for a big restaurant, so I could have a drink in a relaxed atmosphere....
Indeed, the size of the restaurant was such that I wondered how the head chef and a waitress could run the place by themselves. It was a bit large for the size of the restaurant, but it looked like it was a big problem because one after another customers came in an hour after we entered...(^_^;)
So, I paired the sashimi with a Junmai sake from Tosatsuru.
I thought it would have a strong flavor, but it was surprisingly refreshing.
It had a beautiful finish, was easy to drink, and matched well with the sashimi.
It was delicious! (^○^)

Tomoyuki Kumagai Happy birthday to your grandson ㊗ He is so cute! And the Tosatsuru looks delicious. Tosa has a strong impression of dried bonito, so I wonder if there are many dry sake that go well with sashimi.

Happy birthday to your grandson, Mr. Kumagai 🎉🎂 I can see that he is growing up nicely with his first birthday cake 😊.
I also thought it would be more harsh, but I guess it tastes like a drunken whale? It looks delicious!

Good evening, Sashu-san! (^^)/
You are quite a tomboy!
I am sure that Kochi sake has a surprisingly strong umami flavor, so it is not all about dry sake. (^○^)

Good evening, Pon-chan! (^^)/
We won't be able to drink together until 19 more years, though (lol).
I guess it depends on the brand, but the finish was surprisingly easy to drink with a refreshing feeling.
