The second glass is NAKANORISAN from Nakazen Sake Brewery, also from the Shinshu Jizake Hanpukai 2023 Secret Course.
Nakazen Sake Brewery is a sake brewery in Kiso, established in 1865.
Using natural water from the Ontake mountain range, they brew "Nakanorisan" and other sake for the local market and "Zenkichi" for the national market.
NAKANORISAN here, I really have no information about it, so all I know is that it is a junmai-type sake with 15% alcohol by volume.
Well, let's try it and see what it is like.
Nice fruity aroma of apple🍎 type ☺️
The mouthfeel is smooth, with a thick juicy sweet attack!
The acidity comes out from there, and the dark flavor spreads and balances.
The finish is smooth with a light astringent aftertaste.
It's dark! I like this kind of wine 😊.
As you drink more and more, the sweetness recedes and the acidity becomes more balanced, but that's okay too!
Zenkichi and Nakanori are one of the sake brands promoted by Osaka and Dodoya Sake Shop, but for some reason I had never had it, so I thought I would pursue this one in the future!
