Tonight we went to Otsuka to eat anaguma. The wife saw it in a magazine and wanted to go there. 4 at Jizake and more.
The last one was also omakase and heated sake. We chose this sake to go with the zosui, which was mild with the egg. It was indeed very gentle. When heated, the aroma, sweetness, and umami spread gently. It's deeply delicious.
Long ago, I drank heated sake at a cheap izakaya (Japanese-style bar), and the volatile alcohol of the cheap sake stained my eyes. I regretted it. Heated sake is different in the way it enters the body. The temperature is close to human skin, and it's just so gentle.
I was once told that sake is supposed to be drunk warmed. Cold sake was said to be a lazy drink. I had read a story about this and thought I had to try it again, but my first memory of it kept me from trying it.... It's not good not to drink. I should have taken it earlier.
After the rice porridge, I had some room in my stomach, so I tried one of their specialties: tuna and sea bream rolled with yellow meat and tuna innards. It was ridiculously delicious!

I would rather eat something else than a badger! LOL!
I think it is a good restaurant. It was overbooked and several groups left without getting in.
Heated sake is good! I think I'll buy a tin of chirori first....
