It's Niimasa Nenrei (Ecru) 2023.
The glass gets gas bubbles 🫧.
The aroma is strong and woody, with a gentle fruity aroma.
It has quite a woody vat feeling, not because of the serving bowl.
On the palate, the soft texture has a chirpy gasiness, and a plum-like sweet-sourness spreads out, followed by a strong clear flavor that flows through and then goes straight to the finish.
Extremely crisp, with a short finish.
As the back etiquettes comment, it is very slim on the palate with a strong woody nuance in the heady and hinted aroma.
It had been quite a while since I had tasted Ecru, but it was such a sweet and sour sake with no sense of sake in a good sense.
It has a softness to the sweet and sourness, but maybe it should be laid down a bit more 🤔.
Having said that, for some reason Ecru was the second lowest priced of the 5 sake in this store 😳I ended up drinking 3 glasses 😁😁.
