Three months after my foot injury, I finally had no trouble walking, so I came to Kyoto for my postponed Hatsumode (New Year's visit to Kyoto) 😁. After visiting Fushimi Inari, Takio Shrine, Rokuharamitsuji Temple, Zen Iori Temple, Kyoto Ebisu Shrine, and Shijo Kawaramachi, I thought I would go to Tatsumi for a lunchtime drink instead of a lunchtime meal. First of all, it was unseasonably hot and we were sweating from walking, so we quenched our thirst with a bottle of Akahoshi, and then we had a glass of sake and a drink. Since most of the sake was from Kyoto, I had never had "Joyo Nanzan" before, so I don't know the specs. A clear rice aroma, a fresh, clean, soft umami on the palate, and a clean, crisp aftertaste. Served with chilled tofu. The slightly firm and gentle tofu flavor with the refreshing Joyo Nanzan is just right for a midday drink in today's early summer heat! Now, where shall we go before the train back home?

Hi Pon-chan! This year I only visited the Higashiyama side of the city so it was easy to get around 😁I must visit Fushimi Inari for the omikuji (fortune) at Mitsuji Temple and Zenjuan every year since I was born in the year of the boar ✨. I heard that Tsunoki Shuho in Nishiki Market wholesales sake!

Hi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀! I can't run or put all my weight on yet, but my muscles are getting weaker, so I went for a walk in the city for rehabilitation 😁. It was hot with rising temperatures, so the cool combination worked well!
