On the way back from my parents' house, my daughter and I went to Ikeda Sake Shop for the first time. My daughter's choice was the "I love sushi" guy and the blue Takachiyo. The sushi one has a cute label though💦.
The spring sake has disappeared and the summer sake is on its way! The blue bottle is so cool and summery 😁.
It is a flat polished unadjusted summer raw sake with 48% milled rice and 16% alcohol by volume. The aroma is cool and refreshing, or maybe it's the color that makes it smell like cider 🤔I personally don't like the aroma, so it's a little hard to drink... but the wife says it's delicious. After a few days the aroma settled down and I could taste the sweetness followed by sourness and bitterness and I also enjoyed it😊It's interesting how it tastes different as time goes by after opening the bottle😆That was delicious! Thanks for the treat 🙏.
