Another bottle today. Benten Musume's R1 blue label.
It is a souvenir from GW's trip to Tottori.
Benten Musume is all contract-grown sake, and the blue label is made from purchased rice of the third grade or lower.
First at room temperature.
A calm, mature aroma. A smooth, smooth mouthfeel.
The rounded, soft, full-bodied sweetness spreads out and is lifted by sharp acidity and astringency.
When heated, it has a well-balanced, light flavor that is delicious. In the latter half of the bottle, it is tightened by the sharp acidity and astringency, which are more restrained than when it is at room temperature.
This time at the liquor store, there were two bottles of Benten Musume No. 4, one blue label and one strong, and I was hesitant to choose the blue label, but I should take both bottles home.
I regretted that I should have taken both bottles home with me. Benten-musume, after all, is a stable taste ^ ^.
San'in sake is so deep that I also bought a magazine. It is like a catalog of San'in breweries, and it is interesting just to look at it. I must go on another San'in trip!
